  • Bummer that this was something touted on day one from the kickstarter campaign but then not included in the first edition.  As a dad with many kids, would LOVE to have this feature.  :)

    • Chris John isn’t this what the button on the base is for?

Chris Coveney yes but doesn’t work yet. Confirmed with a support person from sevenhugs.

Chris John Yes we are working on it and it will be available in on of our future Smart Remote software update.

Today the Charging Base button is useful to do a Factory Reset only.

Gordon How long do you have to push it to do a factory reset?  I have little kids and I can see them pushing that button a lot and would hate to have to set it all back up all of the time.

Chris John You can see how to do a Smart Remote factory reset here. Hopefully, your kids won't accidentally reset your Smart Remote as the process is unique.

I recently purchased the SevenHugs remote and I am also wondering about locating the remote when misplaced. It states clear as day states on the back of the SevenHugs box that “Find Remote button” is included. This is a form of false representation and false advertising. When will the issue be resolved?

  • Any updates on this sevenhugs team? My son became 15 months and is now walking everywhere. Of course he loves this remote, and sometimes he hides it. Can't be that hard to implement I would think! I expected the button on the charging base to make a sound.
