Blank screen when trying to add a device
When trying to add new devices you may encounter a blank screen on Smart Remote App after selecting your device. This happens for any Wi-Fi, BLE or IR device.
This issue happens with the latest iOS version released by Apple on 07/23/2019: iOS 12.4. It currently prevents the installation of devices from the Smart Remote App.
Our team is actively working on getting a fix released to all our customers. A fix has been implemented by our team and a new version of the App is now getting reviewed by Apple, this may take a few days.
In the meantime, you can still add any devices using an Android device.
You can also add any IR devices by testing codes directly on Smart Remote. When adding an IR device select “Continue on Smart Remote” instead of “Enter my model manually”.
