Remote not connecting to network

I've tried the manual and automatic processes to find my remote.  Followed instructions for both.  After removing the device from the network to find it via IP address I could not reconnect to my network.  Very familiar with networking but not sure what's going on.  This device will not reconnect to my network.  I need help.  Can't confirm latest update as well......because i can't connect to the network.

  • Angelo Riddick could you please share what error message you get when trying to connect your Smart Remote back to your Wi-Fi network?

      I sent the following message regarding your inquiry about an error message.  There was no specific error message.  The system attempted to connect until it couldn't and simply added an exclamation mark beside the Network Name in the settings interface on the remote.  This is the message I sent this morning at 0810:

       

      Sent via email in response to your inquiry about an error message.......

      Update to previous attempt to reconnect at 0810 this morning during the composition of the message dated 1 June, 0812 (same subject):

      Just stopped trying to reconnect again and back to the screen that says “click to reconnect to OmegaDelta”.

      The network is up and there are no problems with the router. No changes have been made to the configuration.

      Please advise.

    • Anne-Sophie F. Thank you again but I'm still not getting anywhere.  This device is expensive and hasn't been the subject of abuse or experimentation.  We just want a universal programmable device that delivers.  Please keep me posted.
