  • Hi everyone! Great news today, custom steps for TV Scenes are now available. This new feature allows you to customize which commands are sent by Smart Remote when a TV Scene is activated and deactivated. Add delays to allow your device to turn on and off at the right time and in the correct order, or configure additional commands to get the most of your media experience. All from the Sevenhugs App, under the TV Scene settings. Please check our latest release notes for v0.74.21 here and how to add custom steps to a TV Scene here. Please feel free to share any feedback you have on this new feature!

      hi,

I have a SmartHome Scene in my TV Scene (to switch mains for TV etc on) but I miss the scene in the list of the devices for the steps.

so I am not able to switch the mains on; wait 10 seconds and then switch the tv on :/

    • Thomas do you mean that you would like to turn on the lights, wait 10 seconds and then switch the TV on?

in my case there is a switch connected to my smart home system. this switch powers the tv; the apple tv and some other things i want to be off when i dont need them (95% of the day) to save power.

currently i can turn on that switch by a webhook, which works perfekt. So in my TV Scene is a SmartHome Scene which is calling the webhook ...

      so the steps are:

turn on the switch (via smarthome scene - via webhook)

wait 10 seconds until the tv gets available

run the rest of the tv scene (turn the tv on ; switch to hdmi blabla)

additional note: i am not able to edit the contents of  a given smarthome scene ... but this is a other story ...

    • Thomas thanks a lot for sharing this. Did you try just adding a delay at the beginning of your TV Scene via custom steps?
