Smart Remote does not find the right codes for my IR device

 After trying a few IR codes on Smart Remote, if you don’t get the right controls, you’ll need to enter your model manually:

  1. Make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as Smart Remote

  2. Launch the Sevenhugs Smart Remote app and go to the Home screen for Devices & Services

  3. Select “Add a device or service"

  4. Select a category

  5. Confirm your device location (some devices are not always available in all regions, please try a continent if you don't find your device in a specific country)

  6. Search for and select the brand of the device you want to add

  7. Select “Enter my model manually.”  This is the best way to add your IR devices and will give the fullest range of controls for this device.

  8. Enter the model number of your device and select it. (If the model number of your device can't be found please try to enter to model number of the original remote control or contact us so we can help.)

Your device will now appear on both Smart Remote and Smart Remote App.
