Trouble at the first post

Smart remote arrived today and absolutely gorgeous. Experience opening the box akin to opening an Apple product. Almost. Tried to connect to my Thompson router but no success at all. Followed all the instructions but to no avail. Can anyone help?

  • Hi Alex, in answer to your question, "If I understand correctly, you're trying to connect Smart Remote to your Wi-Fi network. Is that correct?" Yes, you are correct. Both my MacBookPro as well as my iPhone have no problems connecting to my WiFi. And, I have read and followed your 'troubleshooting article' link, but to no avail? My router is a Thomson TG585 v7 (which has an operating Frequency of 2.4GHz) if that is of any help at all?

      Mark Whyte Do you still have issues connecting Smart Remote to your router. Could you please let us know at what step of the connection you are blocked exactly?
