Smart Remote does not find my Wi-Fi devices

When adding a Wi-Fi device you Smart Remote App will do a Wi-Fi autodiscovery. If Smart Remote app doesn’t find any of your Wi-Fi devices please follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure that you Wi-Fi device is supported by Smart Remote checking our device compatibility page
  2. Make your Wi-Fi devices are connected on the same Wi-Fi network as Smart Remote and your Mobile Phone
  3. Refresh by clicking the refresh icon on the top right of your Smart Remote app screen
  4. If still no Wi-Fi devices are discovered:
    • If you’re still having trouble, refer to the device manufacturer’s guide or contact us at support@sevenhugs.com
    • You may need to reset your Wi-Fi devices 
    • If you just connected your device, wait a moment and try again
    • Make sure your devices are powered ON and nearby
    • Make sure your devices have an auto-discovery feature
