Errors 401 & 402: "Missing Package or Device ID"

In the case you are trying to edit a device or a TV Scene via Smart Remote App and you get an error message mentioning a missing Package or Device ID, error codes: 401 or 402, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Try to refresh your Smart Remote App by scrolling down on your App Home
  2. Wait for the Smart Remote to communicate again with Smart Remote App
  3. Try again to edit your device or TV Scene.

If this doesn't help, please try the following steps:

  • On the top left of your Smart Remote App Home screen click on the home icon
  • Select "Edit"
  • Select your Home
  • Select "Remove"
  • Re-start setup with Smart Remote App, you will be able to recover your configuration in App by selecting the Smart Remote linked to its home when Smart Remote is found
