Hue doesn’t work



first of all: thanks for the great remote. Only the hue system doesn’t work. I receive error code 116! What does this mean?

  •  Hi   Rogier gundlach thanks a lot for raising this! Error 116 usually means that In local network device is not powered or not connected to the same local network. Could you please make sure your device is powered on and connected to the same network as Smart Remote. 

    If you are still having issues, please share with us your Serial Number, as well as your Hue model and software version so we can investigate.

  • Hi, I am getting this same error with a Roku 4 device. The Roku is very much connected to the network. The remote function had been working great until very recently, please advise?

  • No it does not

    • Rahul B Patel could you please try to remove your Hue via Sevenhugs App and try to add it again?

    • Anne-Sophie F. Hi, I have tried this a few times, and still get the same error code. To be clear the issue I am having is with a Roku4, not a Hue. I am experiencing the same error code as the OP faced with his Hue device. This is the only thread I have seen in the support pages that mentions this error code.
