SONOS Service issue when trying to add.

Any idea what is going on in the attached screenshot?  I'm trying to add Sonos service to smart remote.  I've entered my sonos login arc and it then asks me to give permission for the remote to control my sonos.  Once I confirm that it get the error message in the screenshot.

  • Ben Webb thanks for sharing this. Could you please try to perform a reset of your Sonos and let us know if that helps. If not, you may want to try a reset factory of it. Please let us know.

  • ok..a bit of progess here..not sure if good or bad though.

I have multiple sonos devices, so I unplugged them all except for one.  I've noticed however that each sonos device is added as a speaker....is that correct?  Technically 2 out of the 4 sonos devices that i have are not speakers, they are amplifiers.... I do have 2 x Sonos Play 1's..which i suppose could be seen as a speaker.

This then leads me to another issue...

I want to create a 'Music' AV scene.  I would say that my 'content source' would be the sonos amp, no display required, and my Onkyo Amplifier would be the device for volume.  I can't do this, because it doesn't see the Sonos as a source...it's a speaker.

Is this correct?  If so...could you advise as to how I set up the following

Switch on Onkyo Amp, change it to 'line 1',  then allow me to play, pause etc on this particular Sonos.

Ben Webb thanks a lot for sharing this update, I'm glad you were able to add your speakers. As you have noticed, Sonos are not available yet to be added as part of an AV Scene. I've seen that you have already voted for this feature here, and we'll make sure to update you on this as soon as we have news.
